2026/07/02
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Shengjin Digital LLC ("Shengjin Digital," "Storyboard2Video," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, account features, AI storyboard and video generation tools, payments, emails, and support channels (the "Service").
For privacy-law purposes, Shengjin Digital LLC is the controller or business responsible for personal information processed through the Service, unless a different role is required by law or a separate agreement.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated by your use of the Service, and information received from service providers.
- Account information: name, email address, password credentials or social-login identifiers, email verification status, locale, profile details, and account settings.
- Storyboard and generation data: story prompts, character and scene details, style and camera instructions, uploaded or referenced materials, generated storyboard images, generated videos, generation settings, job status, downloads, and related metadata.
- Payment and billing data: plan, credit balance, credit purchases or grants, checkout status, customer identifiers, invoices or receipts, tax and transaction metadata, refund or dispute status, and payment-provider events. We do not store full card numbers.
- Support and contact data: messages you send, contact form details, support context, attachments, and communication history.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser, device, operating system, pages viewed, clicks, referrers, approximate location derived from network data, cookies, logs, performance data, security events, and error reports.
- Marketing and newsletter data: email subscription status, unsubscribe requests, campaign interactions, and preferences when newsletter features are enabled.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, health records, precise geolocation, biometric identifiers, or payment card numbers. Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless the Service specifically asks for it.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
- create and manage accounts, sessions, email verification, password reset, and account deletion;
- generate storyboard images from story prompts, generate videos from storyboards, provide previews and downloads, and maintain generation history;
- process subscriptions, credits, checkout sessions, renewals, refunds, disputes, taxes, and billing records;
- detect abuse, fraud, security incidents, policy violations, and technical failures;
- provide customer support and respond to legal or operational requests;
- send service emails, security notices, product updates, and optional newsletter messages;
- analyze usage, performance, conversion, reliability, and feature quality;
- comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect users, the Service, and third parties.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your private prompts, storyboard images, or generated videos to train our own foundation models. Third-party AI providers may process prompts, uploads, storyboard images, and generated outputs as needed to provide generation, moderation, or infrastructure services, subject to their own terms and data practices.
Legal Bases
Where a legal basis is required, we process information because:
- processing is necessary to provide the Service or perform a contract with you;
- you consented, such as for optional marketing or non-essential cookies where required;
- we have a legitimate interest in operating, securing, improving, and supporting the Service;
- we need to comply with legal obligations;
- processing is needed to protect users, the Service, or third parties.
You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, but withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Sharing Information
We may share information with:
- AI model, moderation, storage, hosting, database, email, analytics, security, and infrastructure providers;
- payment processors, checkout providers, tax, fraud-prevention, subscription, refund, and dispute service providers;
- professional advisers, auditors, legal counsel, and business operations vendors;
- authorities, courts, regulators, or rights holders when we believe disclosure is legally required or needed to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service;
- a successor or affiliate in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We require service providers to process information only for authorized purposes, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security commitments.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, security, language and theme preferences, analytics, performance, checkout, and optional integrations. See our Cookie Policy for more information.
Where required by law, we will request consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies. If a cookie consent tool is not available in your region, non-essential analytics, marketing, or tracking integrations should remain disabled until a lawful basis is available.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce terms, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, and support operational backups. Retention periods vary by data type.
Account and billing records may be kept for the period required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, and compliance purposes. Storyboard prompts, generated storyboard images, generated videos, and related metadata may be retained while your account is active, while needed to provide downloads or history, or until deletion is requested and legally possible. Logs and security records are usually retained for shorter operational periods unless needed for investigation.
When you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or de-identify information where reasonably possible, subject to legal, security, billing, backup, and abuse-prevention requirements.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for using strong, unique passwords.
International Processing
The Service may be operated through providers in the United States and other countries. Your information may be processed in locations other than where you live, and those locations may have different data protection laws.
Where required for transfers from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or similar jurisdictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, contractual commitments with service providers, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent, opt out of certain targeted advertising or profiling, appeal a privacy-rights decision, or lodge a complaint with a regulator.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails. You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, objection, or other privacy-rights assistance.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained when required for security, legal, billing, dispute, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

We use and disclose those categories for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of users under 16. If we enable advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising in the future, eligible users may have the right to opt out.
We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights, but some features may not work if the information needed to provide them is deleted or unavailable.
